I never dreamed I would get to photograph this wedding. I met Emily when I lived in Missouri. She went off to college. I took a job in Washington, D.C. She met her true love in Kentucky and as it turns out Kentucky is within driving distance of the District.
Emily and Dusty gave me so much time. The bride and groom had their first look moments and then we took off to the campus where they met, their favorite local park, and then into downtown for two hours of photos before the wedding party was set to join us at a local state park. We wandered around town, found an antique store with a kind owner. He kindly allowed us to step in for some photos. Outside we found an alleyway with a pawn shop/Coca-Cola mural and some lovely wooden pillars.
My time with these two was endless fun. Emily has so much personality in her expressions. Her happiness is infectious.
